For the 3rd year in a row, Skittles® gave up their rainbow and released limited time grey lentil packs designed by LGBTQ+ artists and storytellers. When shoppers purchased these special packs of Skittles®, a donation was made to GLAAD. In addition to the donation and to sweeten Pride month, we partnered with actor and LGBTQ+ activist, Cameron Esposito, to interview these artists on her podcast, Queery. Listen to the episode here.
Continuing to spotlight these artists, Skittles® partnered with M&Ms® to make a splash at the Bentonville Film Festival. These two brands had a singular message: that everyone can belong, Colorfully Together. Through co-branding, we created a unique experience for festival goers to learn about these artists, a photo booth, games, refreshments, and of course, our candy. We also created a trailer that would run before movie showings bringing the Colorfully Together message to life.
